Accepting The Cycles of a Spiritual Life...
Every ancient system of wisdom teaches that human life unfolds in a succession of stages:
childhood, a period of education and learning a period of family life and meaningful work, and a period of contemplative practice.
Just as there is beauty to be found in the changing of the earth's seasons and an inner grace in honoring the cycle of life, our spiritual practice will be in balance when we can sense the
time that is appropriate for retreats and the time that is appropriate for travel, the time for settling down and planting roots and the time to have family and children.
honoring these cycles, we honor the natural law of the universe in the Tao or the dharma of our own lives. Change comes to our lives not only from shifts in our inner needs, but also
from the shifts in our external circumstances. First we must respect the changing cycles that life brings us and accept the inner tasks they bring. Each of life's stages has a spiritual dimension. Each contributes wisdom and experince that we will draw upon in our spiritual growth.
More often we don't get to choose. The great cycles of our life wash over us, presenting us with challenges and difficult rites of passage much bigger than our ideas of were we are going .But when we bring to them attention and respect , each of those task has a spirtual lesson in them. It may be a lesson of staying centered through great confusion. or a lesson of
developing a forgiving heart with someone who has caused us pain. a lesson of acceptance
or courage ,finding the strength of heart to stand our ground and live from our deepest values.. Difficult cycles are everyone's practice..
Meditation: sit and close your eyes. let yourself feel present and at ease. .Let go of any plans and feel the natural rhythm of your Breathing.
when you become quite , reflect back over your whole spiritual life. The cycles you have gone through , the situations that have taught you the most, the unexpected lessons. The times of solitude and community ,your trials, your guides your recent practice. The problems you encountered as well, their difficulties , their teachings.
Enjoy this reflection, seeing it as a story ,and adventure , appreciating its cycles with a sense of wonder and gratitude. Then feel yourself resting in this moment today with an openess
toward your life ahead of you : the next natural stages of your life . the incomplete areas
of your life , the demensions of spiritual practice you may be called upon to include.
As your own Spiritual guide , become aware of what situation might be beneficial to you . How can you best honor both your choices and your life situation and include them in
the opening of your heart and the cycles of your practice ? Sense how you can be true
to yourself and true to the dharma, the Tao that is unfolding in your life...

Be Thankful For !! Thought for Thanksgiving !! On GRATITUDE...
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Beacause they give you opportunties for Improvement .
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary
Because it means you've made a difference .
It is easy to be thankful for good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for there setbacks.
GRADTITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find away to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your Blessings.......

New Light on Forgivness !! Forgivness Week..
The healing can take place only in release , and you can release every person only when
that state of "GRACE ".. has come to you and you realize that you no longer need power.
Your oneness with " SPIRIT " is your assurance of Omniscience, Omnipotence , and Omnipresence, and because of that you can "RELEASE'" anybody and everybody.
This might be called forgiving, but is far better way of dealing with the whole subject of "Forgivness" than the traditional approach. To "Forgive", is difficult because forgivness has always implied the forgiving of a actual wrong done, which in some way one is supposed to forget. This is rather difficult to do. It is far easier to forgive if you can see that the reason that you think a wrong has been done to you is because you were expecting something from someone, and you had no right to expect anything from anybody. So in the begining it was your
fault; you brought it on yourself. You expected something of someone; therefore, that person did to you what you are having a hard time forgiving. If you had not expected anything of him,
however, you would have nothing now to " Forgive", and you and he would be at "Peace"....

Bringing the Awareness to the Movement of the Body "Meditation"
One aspect of meditation is to come back into the Here and Now.
Normally we are remembering the past or thinking about the future.Very seldom are we ever in the present moment. This technique will help you come into the present and will help
relaxation to happen.
Moving slowly, become aware of how you walk. Close your eyes and with your inner eye, see or sense or feel the foot moving, become aware of the heel, ball of the foot and the toes.
Move your awarness to the calves, feeling them as you move along. Now observe your knees and thighs. Become aware of your belly and solar plexus.Move your inner seeing/sensing or feeling to your chest. Tune into your breathing. Now include in your inner awarness your shoulders, your neck and head. Add to this awarness of your arms and hands.
This is one way to practice awarness. To start with, choose simple actions from the daily routine life, such as walking, eating, cooking and cleaning . Make it like a game. When you lose your awarness, don't be discouraged. It takes time to be able to be continually aware of your actions. Give yourself praise for having been aware even if it is just for a moment...

Listening "How to Increase awareness of your Inner Guide"
Lesson 3 ; "Listen with Assurance,
We are being directed even when we are unaware. We are where we are supposed to be and doing what we are suppose to be doing. "Why is this happening to me ?'' These judgements are the result of how we perceive the world about us. We are spending time asking "Spirit " to explain the insanity of the world that we ourselves create through our attitudes and beliefs... Therefore the question . "What is happening here?''' if asked with a desire to change the situation and not to know what lesson is involved, will bring no useful answers.
The ultimate answer to the question. "Why is this Happening ?" will always be. "Everything
is fine, despite what we see, feel. or think about it , and despite what others tell us." Spirit's "
will is always done, regardless or our awareness, or lack of awarness. of this reality.
It will eventually dawn on us that the only real request is . "Show us the blessing or the lesson You would have us learn". We then find that what was happening all along was for our happiness, and that we are being given chance after chance to learn our lessons...

Dropping the belly / Dropping into the belly
1. In a standing position , experience how we were taught to hold our bodies: the shoulders are pushed back, the chest is pushed out , the belly is "tucked in," and the buttocks are tightened. from this posture, try to take a good long, deep breath !! Of course, you can't !
2. Now close your eyes and simply "drop the belly". let it hang out !! Don't worry about what it looks like. Simply let it go.This dropping naturally helps the shoulders to fall and the buttocks to relax. And now you are able to take in a deep breath !!! You can use the Lamaze stroking method to help relax the belly. Just experience what the belly feels like when it isn't being held in.( Look at very small children. Their bellies are naturally in the relaxed position !!)
3. Once the belly is dropped, then drop into the belly- into what the Japanese call the "hara"- two inches below the navel. This area can be more easily accessed by placing both hands there, and gently pulsating it with your fingers.
4. One of the easiest ways to get the feeling of the hara, and to breathe through it, is to do some vigorous dancing. Then Stop !! Feel the breath in the belly... the energy flowing there. Feel the feet grounded on the floor.Experience the belly muscles, the shoulders, and then drop into the belly.
5. Then move into any activity...
